**In the wake of this weekend’s Oakland Ghost Ship fire, I am offering this concert as a healing space for all of us in the community and in honor of the lives and homes lost** I’m honored to be invited by the Exploratorium’s RESONANCE Series to perform in the Kanbar Forum. I created a special mix of Star Core for the unique Meyer Constellation surround sound system. With over 60 speakers, and stellar video projection, it will be a truly unique performance event. I will be joined on stage by Chuck Johnson on electric bass.
As a special bonus, I will be doing a rare screening “Recognition (for Prepared Piano, Sine Waves, and Macro-Cymatic Instrument)” – also in surround sound mix! I am happy to report that “Recognition” was recently awarded Official Selection at the Staunton International Film Festival and Cutting Edge Film Festival, and to be screening it for the first time in the Bay Area.
