Magma Festival | Seattle Saturday 3/23/13

Northwest friends, its been waaaaay too long!  So excited the kind folks at artist-run Hollow Earth Radio have invited me up to play at their MAGMA festival this weekend!!  Hope to catch up with you there.  I’m going to be performing a set of some new material and a bit from the Glass Canyon LP.

The festival is going on for a few weeks and some other good friends including Chuck Johnson & Danny Paul Grody are joining in on other nights, so do check out the full lineup HERE

Also, a nice nod from the Seattle Stranger’s blurb about the show
“a strong bill headed by Oakland violinst Marielle V. Jakobsons (of the sublime raga-drone savants Date Palms) and Rafael Anton Irisarri (aka techno minimalist the Sight Below and a deft creator of impressionist ambient music under his own name). Jakobsons’s Glass Canyon album on Students of Decay was one of 2012’s most enveloping and engrossing drone-based works.”

Who/what is Hollow Earth Radio?
Hollow Earth Radio is the Pacific Northwest’s freeform online radio station that presents a forum for underrepresented music, sounds and perspectives.
