Thursday 3.11.10 @ the BlueSix, SF

An evening of intimate duos at the Bluesix Acoustic Room

3043 24th St @ Treat St in the Mission, SF MAP

Bluesix

South China [from Maine!] meld experimental rock and classical music, producing a sound that feels sparse and improvised, evoking a slightly dark and dream-like state. They draw listeners into their intimate world of Maine winters, bittersweet moments, subtle humor, and the bizarre dream imagery.

EFFT will perform in duo form, their bittersweet songs inspired by a potent poeticism, ’90s shoegaze riffs, and experimental penchants. They will be joined by myrmyr on violin & cello for one song!

MYRMYR transforms violin, cello, voices, and other instruments with electronics to create modern Baltic-folklore-inspired chamber songs. They will be debuting one never-before-heard song,  perform a tune from their upcoming 2nd album, and also will be joined by EFFT for one song!
